Shania Goertz

Wilsonville High Coach

Hello! My name is Coach Shania and I am the head cheerleading coach at Wilsonville High School. I was the assistant coach for three years prior to becoming head coach last season.

I was a cheerleader for 18 years including youth, high school, college and all star competitive cheer where I won national titles as an athlete. I am now coaching both high school and all star cheer where I coached my all star team to a national title at NCA in 2021.

Traveling is by far my favorite thing to do outside of cheer. I love the sun and enjoying spending time with my friends and family. My favorite part about coaching is watching my athletes grow and fall in love with the same sport I did.

I am so excited for my 5th season coaching here at Wilsonville High School!

Madelyn Williams

Director of Wilsonville Youth Teams

HELLO! My name is Coach Madelyn, I am the director of Wilsonville Youth Cheer. I have two beautiful daughters, a fur baby, and some chickens as well. I love teaching kids that are brand new to cheer to athletes that have been doing it awhile. I have coached all ages and love it!

I have been in the cheer world for over 15 years. Coaching is a passion of mine because cheer changed my life and I am here to help make a change. Keeping a positive up lifting environment is my main goal.

Go WILDCATS!!

Chayla Evetts

Youth Team Coach

My name is Coach Chayla, I graduated high school from Tualatin high in 2011, and I’ve been involved with cheerleading since 2010. Before cheer, I was a competitive gymnast at Metro gymnastics for 10 years giving me good background knowledge in tumbling and body awareness. I have been coaching cheerleading of some sort for 10 years ranging from youth to high school programs.

When I’m not coaching, you can find me at my salon, which I opened the end of 2019, running a side hustle with my fav shampoo company, or at our family farm! I have two cats, two dogs, and a super supportive husband. I also still do handstands on a regular basis if any one wants to challenge me! I’m super excited for this new season!!

Makaylen Sullivan

Youth Team Coach

Hi Everyone my name is Coach Makaylen! I am super excited to meet you all!! A little bit about me, I graduated from Tualatin High School where I cheered and coached one of the youth teams there with my older sister Chayla!

I'm a very patient, compassionate, kind and am so excited to help out whenever I can. On my free times I love hanging out with my dog and friends! I have a two year old boxerpit who is the best adventure buddy ever. I'm currently working as a nanny and it has been so much fun.

Cheer has been a blessing in my life and is honestly the best sport!! It helps build our confidence and self esteem, your performance skills and is probably the most fun way to get some exercise!! With that being said I'm SO excited to see everyone and have some FUN!!

Jenae Maston

Youth Team Coach

Hello Wildcats! My name is Coach Jenae and I will be one of the youth coaches this season!   I started doing cheer when I was in 6th grade where I cheered for Tigard Youth. I then went on to cheer for one year on Tigard High Varsity. After my freshman year at the high school I decided to move on to All Star Cheer. I ended up on the very first Style Shock team where I stayed through the remainder of my high school career. There I was on their level 2 team as well as their level 4 team and we won several Nation titles along with a International title up in Canada.

While I was at Style Shock I also volunteered my free time to Assistant Coach their special needs team. This is where I not only found my love in coaching but also in working with people who have disabilities. I found myself then working at Tigard Tualatin School District for 10 years working with kids who have disabilities. I worked as an assistant coach there for five years and  I found myself then working at Tigard Tualatin School District for 10 years working with kids who have disabilities. Then moved on to assistant coaching with Glencoe Jr Cheer for two years.

When I decided to leave Glencoe I found myself still wanting to coach and ended up at Tualatin working as a youth coach While also teaching tumbling at Tilton’s Gymnastics for 3years.. I’m excited to start this next chapter at Wilsonville as a coach. And can’t wait to see what this season has in store!

Estrella Sernande

Youth Team Coach

My name is Coach Estrella and this will be my first year coaching with Wilsonville! I have a big family with 3 sisters and 3 pups.

My love of cheer began in 8th grade, and sprouted into another two years with Tualatin High School cheer- both with undefeated seasons, and also competed a year of Tualatin All-Stars and won the NCA title. During these years, I was given the opportunity to assist with several kids camps and grew to love working with kids as well as teaching others how to stunt and tumble.

This coming year I plan on attending college through dual enrollment, which means I get to spend lots of time in my home town getting to know all of you! I am so excited to meet you and am so lucky to work with the excellent program that is Wilsonville Youth Cheer!!
